Sorcery in the Greek language is Pharmakias, the word our English words pharmaceuticals, pharmacy, etc come from. It translates into English as sorcery, witchcraft, drug charming, and spell casting, among many other words.

Pharmakeus means sorcerer, a witch, drug charmer, spell caster, a witch, sorcerer, drug charmer, and a spell caster. All are an Art, dark as they are, and these words reference those doing these Arts.

A druggist is a sorcerer, a witch, a drug charmer, a spell caster, etc. In Greek the word, pharmakeia, means poisoning.

Poisoners, because they make poisons in the form of potions (love potion no 9?) that are designed to make the body, do things it was not designed to do.
