Torah Portions – Parashah
Parashah, Torah Portions, or parashot
Torah Portions, or parashah’s, are a systematic reading of the Torah, The Prophets, and the Brit haDashah each week.
It’s not a commanded responsibility, but it’s kinda handy to systematically read through the Torah once a year.
The parashah reading in the prophets is not exhaustive, by any means.
What this means is that only some of the passages are represented.
They are those that have to do with the Torah portion that week.
This is the same as with the Brit haDashah.
Several passages of scripture are brought together having to do with the parashah for the week.
Therefore it’s an opportunity for a soul to learn how the subject of the week’s portion is being brought to pass in the lives of Israel, both then and now.
Taking notice of what wikipedia says about this I provide the following for your convenience.

Division into weekly parashot
The division of parashah or parashiot found in the modern-day Torah scrolls of all Ashkenazic, Sephardic, and Yemenite communities.
It is based upon the systematic list provided by Maimonides in Mishneh Torah, Laws of Tefillin, Mezuzah and Torah Scrolls, Chapter 8.
Maimonides based his division of the parashot for the Torah on the Masoretic text of the Aleppo Codex.[3]

Below is a working list of the portions that you can follow here on our website.
Read the portions we have established here to help you in your studies.
We use this same resource for our studies each week, also.
It’s hoped that you will enjoy using them as much as we have enjoyed providing them for you.
